We are seeking a Field Painter!
Position Summary
The Field Painter is responsible for painting soccer fields for the Lander Valley Youth Soccer Club. Fields are painted using a Turf Tank Machine. The Field Painter will tow the trailer to the fields and operate the machine using a tablet (provided).
Key Responsibilities
· Haul Equipment Trailer to the fields that need painting
· Operate software/tablet for the Turf Tank robot to paint the lines for soccer fields
· Effectively communicate with Board of Directors
· Keep Trailer and Turf Tank robot in good, clean condition
· Provide light maintenance on Turf Tank robot (preferred, but not required)
Qualifications
· Must be proficient with operating technology
· Must be able to work independently
· Must be able to lift/carry 50+ lbs for short distances
· Must have a reliable vehicle that can haul a small equipment trailer
· Must be reliable and communicate with Board of Directors Representative to ensure all fields are painted as needed in a timely manner
Compensation & Hours
About 10-15 hours every two weeks during the soccer season (March - May)
$20/hour
This role is offered strictly on an independent contractor basis. The contractor is solely responsible for their own business operations, expenses, insurance, and tax obligations. Contractor services will be performed at their discretion, subject only to the agreed scope of work and deadlines.

We are seeking a Director of Coaching!
The Director of Coaching (DOC) is responsible for leading and managing all coaching-related activities within Lander Youth Soccer. This role ensures the highest standards of player development, coach education, and program quality across all age groups. The DOC will oversee coaches, direct biannual player evaluations, practice plans, and training programs to foster a positive, competitive, and development-focused environment for youth athletes.
Coach Oversight & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor coaches for all age divisions both in competition and recreational leagues.
Conduct regular coaching evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Organize and lead coaching clinics and continuing education opportunities.
Ensure that all LVYS Coaches have completed their WSA required training and background checks.
Player Development
Evaluate player placement within teams during the season with recommendations for coaches and LVYS Board.
Develop and implement player development pathways aligned with club philosophy.
Practice & Game Planning
Create and distribute standardized practice plans and seasonal training curricula.
Ensure all coaches adhere to club guidelines for practice structure and game-day conduct.
Program Management
Collaborate with the Executive Board on strategic planning and program growth.
Monitor compliance with club policies, league regulations, and safety standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for coaching-related inquiries from parents and staff.
Community Engagement
Promote a positive club culture and represent Lander Valley Youth Soccer in the local community.
Support events, tournaments, and outreach programs to grow participation.
Proven experience in youth soccer coaching and program management.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of player development principles and modern coaching methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, parents, and board members.
USSF or equivalent coaching licenses preferred.
This position requires regular physical labor, including standing and walking for extended periods of time. Contractors must be able to safely perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, carrying, or other physical activities as outlined in the scope of work.
